JCVD's hi-kick

the Context
The first job made for Jean-Claude Van Damme was the creation of the E-shop website for a collection of Swiss Chronographs watches stamped JCVD back in 2010. The contact was made by the Digi-Work agency in Brussels.
Then, via a mutual friend, I was contacted again by Jean-Claude Van Damme in 2013 to create poster visuals for movies projects produced by his own production company Rodin Entertainment. As other graphic works followed...

Following the creation of the official JCVD website, I began to work on the construction of visuals for film posters (trilogy) which took place between Vancouver, Dubai and Shanghai, then for a television show project where JCVD would train the real Dubai Police in the practicing martial arts... then on a TV series sponsored by Fashion TV also happening in Dubai. In short, a lot of projects happened...
Challenge
To try and follow JCVD in his many projects is no easy task. Ideas fly in all directions, and the briefings change and evolve every day. If not hours. This was a very good exercise in adaptation and agility.
Results
Unfortunately, I do not have the right, by contract, to show these visual projects to the public. So I'm just putting a rejected essay opposite, for fun, but the final visuals made for Jean-Claude Van Damme are much more sophisticated than this little tryout.
