the Context
AN AMBITION FOR GROWTH
The adventure began in 2022, driven by Aymen Ben Naceur, Operational Director of Le Pain d’Antan. The objective was clear: to propel this artisanal institution into the digital age with a high-performance virtual storefront, supporting a physical network already well-established across Wallonia, Walloon Brabant, and Brussels. Working in close collaboration with marketing and technical teams, we paved the way for a transition toward a modern era, overcoming the obsolescence of the previous point-of-sale management system, to officially launch development in April 2023.

Given the unique business requirements, we quickly moved away from standard CMS options in favor of a fully customized solution developed from the ground up.
Visual Performance:
Implementation of a dedicated server with CSS downscaling system. A single high-resolution image displays at different sizes for all formats, ensuring absolute sharpness while optimizing page weight.
User Experience:
Integration of a smart geolocation system to guide customers to the three nearest points of sale.
Multilingual Support:
A full deployment in three languages to reach a broader audience.
Challenge

The challenge was significant: building an architecture capable of handling complex logistics, including daily product availability, delivery eligibility based on production timelines, and real-time synchronization between workshops and in-store checkouts.
As a trusted partner, we demonstrated exemplary agility to maintain project coherence despite regular turnover within the client’s team and three changes in payment service providers.
Navigating the initial stages without product visuals, we designed a flexible and robust interface capable of adapting to the client’s strategic shifts throughout the design and development process.

This project represents one of our most sophisticated achievements to date. More than just an e-commerce site, we delivered a complete digital ecosystem. Despite an initially fluid scope, our adaptability allowed us to transform a simple showcase site into a robust, scalable platform.
